MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!
To all my friends this holiday season, May all your dreams come true may you be blessed with friends and family all around and may the peace and love of the season be in your heart.
I have always loved this time of year but this year has been a little different. It is the first year with out Dad, and how he loved christmas. He used to pretend that he was the biggest grinch in the world but you knew he really loved it. He and mom would come over on christmas and he would be wearing his santa hat and his grinch tee shirt and he always had to be the one to give out the gifts and he would never open his until everyone else opened theirs. Boy did he love it!!! This year will be different even though he will not be here in body he will be here in spirit. This year will be different also because mom is in a battle of her own with breast cancer, (I hate to even say those 2 words) she is going thru the 2nd stage of chemo, this chemo has been alot harder on her but she is fighting hard, she has been very discouraged this week and has been saying that she was so lonely(can you believe that and I see her everyday, haha) she has really missed her dog so I have been looking for a dog for her and found one a scottish terrier He is so cute and she just loves him to pieces. She named him Scottie (hahaha) hopefully he will be company for her.
I have put the gifts under the tree and stood back and looked around, no bikes to put together, no baby dolls, no tonka trucks no toys at all and I said to Mike "boy the time has really gone by so fast I can't believe it" No milk and cookies for Santa and no carrots for the reindeer!!! Oh well, hopefully I will have grandchildren in the future.
Thank you all for being there for me and thank you for listening to me. You all are the best!!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Christmas is also a time to reflect on the wonderful memories of the past. Keep that in your heart and you can get through anything. Hang in there kiddo. Hope you made the best of your holiday.
