On a serious note...

Hi there everyone! Yep I know twice in one month lynne is writing on her blog(hahahaha). I felt that I had to say a few things that are on my mind.
I just want to say thanks to all my friends and to Mike and my kids for sticking by me during this time. Mom goes into the hospital on Wen. am. she will be operated on at 9:00. My many moods have been up and down and you guys have all been so good to me and have put up with me, sorry if I have been a pain in the you know what. Also if you all could just say a little prayer Wen. am I would be very thankful, we could use all the help we can get.
Any how I know that it is not much but I just wanted to say "THANKS"

Don't forget to tell the people in your life that you love them today because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!! It's been a while since I have written on here but life has been so busy. I have been working at a scrapbooking store called "Scrapbooking Plus More"
I really enjoy working here. It's a small store but hopefully as time goes bye it will become bigger and busier. She is starting to get some of the newer stuff in and every day it is like Christmas and I get to open the presents.
Right now as I write this I am watching the show "Family Jewels" with Jean Simmions boy is that funny!!!
We met Tracey's boyfriend Franks parents. They are very nice and they seem to really like her. She seems so happy and it is so good to see.
Jessica Passed the first part of her Teaching test, now she has to start studing for the second part. She takes the second part her Junior year (yes can you believe she will be a Junior next year)
I just became a Stampin up Demonstrator and so far I love it!!! I had my open house last Friday and it went very well!!! Thanks to Amy and all of my GREAT FRIENDS. You all know who you are and I love all of you. Thanks for making it a great night.
Mom Goes into the hospital on the 19th as you all know she will be having open heart surgery to have 1 valve replaced and 1 valve repaired and a catheraztion done and maybe bypass they won't know about that untill they go in. So maybe next wen. everyone can say a little extra prayer, THANKS.

WOW

It has been so long since my last post, but if you know me you are not surprised We have been thru alot as of lately. Mom goes for a visit with her oncologist tomorrow and hopefully it will be a great visit(keep your fingers crossed) As some of you know mom is facing yet another surgery she is scheduled to have open heart surgery on Febuary 6 to replace a valve on her heart and to have a valve repaired. She may also have bypass surgery they will see what needs to be done once they get in there. So in the next few days if you have a free moment say a little prayer for her(it can't hurt). Tracey and Frank are doing well and seem happy in their apartment in Quincy.
Jessica starts school this week, this seems like the longest Christmas break ever. Get up Jessie time to go to school....
Mikey has gone back to school, I think that he only has till April and then he can take his Journeyman's test. Atfer the superbowl we will be ready for spring training. Right Mikey?

TWO WEEKS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!

Can you all believe that there is only 2 weeks till christmas. I cant believe it myself. I have so much shopping to do and such a short time to do it in. Oh well I know that in the end it will get done in time.
As you all know mom and I went to Disney 2 weeks ago, what a great time we all had. The weather was great not a day below 75 and it did'nt rain until friday and even then it was just a misty rain. At Epcot we rode the new ride called sorring it was awsome. It was so nice to get away. Here are a few of the pictures. I can't wait till I have the time to scrap them. THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!!!

I"M BACK!!!!!!

Well here I am, back from Maine and I finally have my computer back!! As some of you know when I went on Vacation in Aug. I came home and noticed that my lap top was not packed in the van. I was so sad and was very tempted to drive 3 hrs up and 3 hrs back to get it but with the gas prices the way they were I desided to wait till we went back for a long weekend. I hope all of my friends are doing well and that you all had a great summer.
We went to Maine for a few days with my inlaws and my sister-in-law and niece and nephew. They are so fun to be around. They make me laugh all the time.
They wore Jessica and I out. HAHAHA!!!

Mom and I went on a Duck tour trip in Boston and that was quiet a fun trip. Mom's sister and husband came down from NH to go with us. We got to ride in the Red sox duck boat.
I also took mom to NH for a weekend to her sister's where I got to meet my cousins son. We had a great time there also.

My baby also turned 20 on Aug. 19th, boy do I feel old...

Well the summer is just about over and it has been such a busy summer and I would't trade it for anything. Now if Danielle would just have the baby before the 21st the summer will end on a perfect note=)

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!

Can you believe that the month is almost over? Boy, did July go buy fast!!! Before I talk about this weekend I just wanted to tell everyone that if you haven't seen the movie "Hairspray" Go and see it!!! It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. All you have to do is sit and watch it, you don't have to think about it just watch and enjoy!!! Let me know how you liked it.

Now for this weekend, Jessie and I went to the kenny chesney concert and Gillette Stadium. We had a great time. Here we are tailgating. When we were done eatting we went to look for Mikey and his friends...After hanging with them for a short time we went into the concert I really enjoyed Sugar Land they were very entertaining and put on an awesome show!! And boy was it hot out. Jessie and I had great seats..We enjoyed Brooks and Dunn they did a awesome tribute to the USA and our Service Men..The best thing of the night was Kenny of course He was the BEST Jessie and I sang and screamed the whole time (I know what your thinking how old is she? hee hee) It was so much fun. We got home around 12:40pm and I was up at 6:00 to clean out the van and head to mom's and then went to work. Jessie did a great job decorating the van,don't you think.

I went to see Rocky, Stacey's dog and boy is he cute!!! I will be spending time with him this week and I can't wait. Rest up Rocky because we are going to have a GREAT time!!!

WOW HAS IT REALLY BEEN 2 MONTHS!!!!

I can't believe it has been 2 mths and I have not posted. Well yes I can(hahaha) those who know how crazy my life has been knows why I have not posted. Tomorrow is mom's last radation treatment so this makes it #33. It has been such a long 33 treatments but it will be worth it to have mom around longer. She is still getting a form of chemo every 3 weeks other than that she is doing great. She loves her dog and thank god she has him I have not been staying at her house over night anymore once and a while I will so that the dog and I will have a sleep over he was so used to me being there.
We went to Maine last weekend and it was awsome I love going there and I took some great pictures of my mother-in-law, and Jess and cooper and everyone else. My mother-in-law and I went to the local scrapbook store and found out that it closed down I was so sad. Oh well Mike did'nt mind because I came back home with money. Tracey has a new boyfriend named Frank they came to Maine with us so we got to know him a little better. He is very nice.
I promise that I will blog alittle more than I have(hahaha)

Well it's May 1st.

I can't believe that it is May 1st. It has been a year we lost Dad. I can't believe it and I still miss him like it was yesterday. The pain is still there it has just dulled a little. How do you get over such a loss? We alway know that no one is here on this earth forever, but when it comes time for a loved one to leave are we really ever ready to let go, even if it is best for them. I can't help but feel selfish in wishing that he was here. I know that if he was here he would be so angry because there would not be anything that he could do for mom. So instead he is our gardian angel. Do me a favor today, when you are just sitting for a minet pick up the phone and call someone that you care for and tell them how much they mean to you. It can be a friend, a husband, daughter or son, your mom or your dad, anyone and when you do this send a little hello up to dad too.
Today mom and I go back to the oncologist to have a herseptin treatment and to see what the outcome of her surgery is. Keep your fingers crossed that we will get some good news. If we don't have hope what else do we have.
Hello to all my crafty girls!!!! Sorry that this post is such a downer. Hopefully the next one will be alittle happier. I miss you all. When is the next dinner out?

Hey anyone out there???

Hi everyone. I am not sure if anyone even reads this, I have not been to exciting up until now. I still can't get over the classes that I took on Friday with Tim Holtz. If you ever get a chance to take one of his classes they are well worth it.
I think that the stress is finally getting to me..I was going to go to crafty girls tonight but I did'nt :( And I really miss my girlfriends. I have a very sore neck and sholders hopefully it will be better by thur. I can't see sitting in the hospital waiting area for however many hours with such a stiff neck. Oh well it could be worse right?

Friday the 13th

This Friday the 13th was one of the best days I have had in a very long time!!!
Stacey and I took 3 of the greatest classes with one of the greatest teachers.
Tim Holtz was awesome!! He has to be one of the most down to earth and one of the most creative guys around. I really stepped out of the box and learned some things that I have never tried before. One class was on distressed inks I loved it!! the second class was on alcohol inks this to was awsome!! The third class was a mystery class where we worked on canvas with inks and beeswax I really enjoyed that one too!
I also won the last prize of the night, a canvas bag which he autographed for me at the end of the night. I had such a great time!!! And I loved taking the classes with a friend, I don't think that I would have enjoyed it as much if I had gone alone, Thanks Stacey!!!! TIM YOU ROCK!!! It was something I really needed=*)!!!!!!
On to other things..
On Thursday mom is going into the hospital for her surgery, If everyone could just take a min. to just think about her on Thursday maybe God with hear our thoughts and help her thru this. Thanks!!!

Welcome Spring

Well can you believe that another month has passed? It passed so quickly it is almost a blurr. I hope that this month of April will bring much happiness to all of you. Easter is just a few days ahead, I remember as a little girl how I would get all dressed up in a special dress and white gloves (only on easter) a quarter my dad would give me for my purse(white pattenleather) for the collection at church and my brothers in dress clothes and ties. How nice we all looked for church, I can remember during the sermon my mother would tell who ever was sitting next to dad to wake him up before he starts snoring so loud that everyone could hear him. I still laugh everytime I think of it (heeeheee).
I am very excited about the 13th of april. My friend(Stacey) and I are taking classes with Tim Holtz. I hope that Stacey and I don't giggle to much during class and get into to much trouble(heehee)
Tomorrow 4/3/07 is moms last chemo treatment. Unless the doctors feel that she is not up to it, we shall see. Today we had an appointment with the surgeon She is going to have surgery on the 19th. hopefully when they remove the breast they will get all the cancer. They are also going to remove some of her lymophnodes(?spelling) then the radiation is next. This has been such along road but we take 1 day at a time!!!
Then there is the 3 day weekend coming up. I always enjoy that weekend because then I can start working on my flower garden. I can't wait till the warm weather is here and the sun is always shining and everything is so green and you just feel good. It has been such a long winter!!!!!!

We have a new member of the family!!!

At 7:00 yesterday morning I awoke to the sound of the phone ringing,"Hello" I said "Hi Lynne how's it going?"It was Big Mike on the phone, "OK, what's up?" Mike responded by saying" I am bringing home a new member of the family" surprised I said"what are you talking about?" "I am bringing home Dasiy a really cute kitty cat" (this from someone who just the night before said NO MORE #@#@#$ ANIMALS!!!) So last night Mike brought home Dasiy and I came home from mom's today and met her. She is very cute and very small the owners had to find a new home because they just found out that their youngest is alergic to cats. The husband told mike that she is 5 years old but then his wife told him today she is 9 years old. WHAT THE HECK!!!! 5 or 9 which one? Oh well hopefully she will get used to the dog and the other 2 cats, keep your fingers crossed.

In like a lion out like a lamb.......

Hi there everyone!!!!
Can you believe that next week is Spring!! I can't believe that it is going to snow tomorrow (up to 6"-10") I thought that we were done with all that, but who am I kidding. Remember a few years back when we had the April fools storm? I do because I got the day off from school and I was so happy, just like a kid. Well since it is going to snow guess where I am going? If you guessed mom's you are right, give yourself 10 points(haha). I will be leaving early so that I don't get caught in the heavy stuff. Keep your fingers crossed that this storm goes out to sea, because I really want to go to a card making class tomorrow night, so keep them crossedXXXX
If it is as bad as they say I will have to stay with mom over night because I do not want her to walk the dog in the snow. Her legs are very week and she has fallen in the past so here I am to the rescue (just call me super lynnie!!!!) Last storm the older brother who does plowing did not come out to plow mom out till 9:30pm NO COMMENT except *&^% @%% &!#$
Now for an update on mom. They stopped her chemo a couple of weeks ago because it was really doing a job on her, well it wasn't going as well as it should because they wanted to do the surgery and right now they can't so she will have chemo for the next 3 weeks and next week we will meet with the radiolagest to plan out her radiolagy treatments. She has been very down about it lately so if you can please just say a little prayer for her. THANKS!!!
I have been staying home a few nights a have been able to do a little scrapping lately I hope that you like the layouts. Let me know what you think. THANKS!!!!

This is a clock that I altered for my in-laws a late anniversary gift. What do you give a couple that have been married for 53 years.... The john deer stickers are for my father-inlaw because he has one and loves it almost as much as he loves my mother-in-law. hahaha What do you think?

When is Spring?

Well here it is March 6 and it is so cold out, oh yeah I know that it is still winter but really should it be 2 degrees and -40 with the windchill, brrrrrrr. I can't wait till Spring is here and the green grass and the flowers are growing and the sun stays out longer. It is even to cold for poor Cooper, when I let him out he goes and does his thing and then runs back in the house as fast as he can to get back where it is warm.

I haven't gotten much scraping done lately I did a page on my moms dog, it was a pretty simple but at least I got something done, right? I am excited to go to crafty girls next week, I do enjoy going to do that with my friends and I always end up laughing with them and we all need to laugh.

I am going to stay with mom tomorrow night she has to go to the hospital for a pet scan and thats a 3:30 and it last 45 min. and if they take her late why bother coming home if I am just going to turn around and go back in the morning (sometimes it is the drive that kills me!)

I hope that everyone has a great Wens. and maybe one of us will wake up to winning 300,000,000.00 dollars.

The weekend is already over....

Once again the weekend is over and tomorrow is Monday. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent Sat. over mom's and I came home early and just hung out, it has been a long time since I have done that. On Sunday I went to mom's in the morning and then I went to work where for the first time I did scrapbooking with some of the residents at Harrington House. I really enjoyed it. Tomorrow mom and I go to the hospital where she will have a MRI done and on Tues. she has blood work and a procrate shot and on Wens. she will have a pet scan done. What a busy week.

I went to Scrapbook Cupboard on fri. I know Stacey but I needed my scrap therapy(hahaha) and I got some great new goodies. I just love doing my scrapbooking!!!! I did buy the family history book because with everything that has gone on this year I would really like to look into my family history. I am hoping this book can help me. I also have geneology for dummies.

Ok I am going to try to post a picture of mom's dog, other than cooper he is the cutiest thing, and he makes mom smile so he is worth all the work.

Boy, has it been a long time...

I can't believe that I have not posted in such a long time but as you know my life has been a living you know what. I have been spending my time between staying with mom and at home. I have been at moms more these past few weeks because she has been having a very hard time with her treatments so I have been with her. Today we went for her last taxol chemo treatment now she has to go for a MRI, pet scan and a ultra sound of her heart to see when she is able to have her surgery.

I just want to say thanks to all my crafty girls for being there for me, I had a great time with you guys the last crafty girls and I can't wait for the next one!!!!

I think that I have figured out how to put a picture on my blog check it out (thats one of my things on my list of learn to do this year)
